Responsibilities include:Population of geoscience databasesThe interpretation of well, outcrop and seismic dataMaking interpretative geoscience contributions towards the digital twinGeneration of regional geological interpretations, including paleogeographic maps, depth frameworks and common risk segment maps (in ArcGIS and DecisionSpace as required)Delivering technical presentations to clients and colleaguesEnsuring standards and qualityQualificationsEssential Skills:An honours degree (2:1+) and ideally a postgraduate degree in Geology (at least MSc level)Data analytical skills and knowledge of databasesAbility to deliver high quality geoscience interpretations to time and standard Experience in communicating value to customers or stakeholdersExperience with GIS technologies such as QGIS, ArcGISA professional attitude and a willingness to learnComfortable working within a team and contributing to the geoscience and technological discussions within the company Desirable skills:Two to five years' experience in the energy industryStrong communication skills, with experience presenting technical workExperience of wireline and seismic interpretation would be highly advantageous Experience with coding and analytical languages such as Python, SQL, PostgreSQL etc.Experience with FME Desktop or FME Server/CloudSome experience with sequence stratigraphy Halliburton is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
