Our client, a well-established educational institution in Luton, Bedfordshire, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-time SEN Teacher to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional support and guidance to students with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the highest quality education tailored to their individual requirements. As an integral member of our client's educational team, the SEN Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and needs of each student. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various special educational needs and be well-versed in implementing innovative teaching strategies to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Our client offers a competitive salary range of £140-£225 per day, with the potential for an increase to £176.04-£281 per day after 13 weeks on AWR, depending on pay type and scale. The rate includes a generous SEN Allowance, recognising the specialised nature of this role and the expertise required to excel in it. Key responsibilities of the Full-time SEN Teacher include: Developing and implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) for each student Collaborating with other teachers, support staff, and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support Regularly assessing and monitoring student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to student performance and development Fostering strong relationships with students, parents, and caregivers to promote open communication and a supportive learning environment To be considered for this rewarding role, candidates must possess: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialisation in Special Educational Needs Proven experience working with students with diverse special educational needs Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs Flexibility, patience, and a creative approach to problem-solving If you are a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher looking to join a supportive and dynamic educational team in Luton, Bedfordshire, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
