Production Technician

We are recruiting for a Production Technician to join our client based in Milton Keynes. Our client is proud to be part of making ground-breaking discoveries in scientific research with the opportunity to work hands-on with animals in a dynamic research facility where every day brings the chance to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintains live virus vaccine equipment
- Champion safety and compliance by participating in Safe by Choice discussions and hazard identification
- Support EHS initiatives, cooperating with management on compliance actions
- Execute production plans in collaboration with the Lead Technician
- Monitor and maintain inventory, including cycle counts and stock returns
- Maintain and verify accurate production records in line with GMP requirements
- Operate in GMP environments, handling sterilization, blending, and filling equipment
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning
- Contribute to deviation investigations, change control, and corrective actions
- Provide on-the-job training and participate in daily production planning
- Manage reporting and task delegation during absences or offsite work
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
- A-levels in Science based subjects
- Strong experience using SAP
- Experience with following Standard Operating Procedures
- Basic computer skills using Word, Outlook and Excel
