7.5-Ton Driver Bulk Uplift Crew Pertemps are currently recruiting 7.5-ton Drivers to join our clients Bulk Uplift Team in Edinburgh East.If you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.This is a hands-on role where youll support vital environmental services by collecting bulky household items and helping keep local communities clean and safe.Location: Edinburgh East Hours: 4 days on / 4 days off 06:00 to 17:02 (45-minute break) Pay: £14.02 £15.68 per hour Duration: Temporary ongoing work If you like being active, enjoy working outdoors and want a job where every shift makes a visible difference, this could be a great fit.What Youll Be Doing Driving a 7.5-ton vehicle as part of the bulk uplift service Collecting bulky household items (furniture, appliances, mattresses, etc.) Working with the crew to safely lift, load, and remove items from properties Following planned routes and schedules efficiently Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues Interacting with the public professionally when required Maintaining excellent safety standards at all times Street cleansing duties are required.Such as, litter picking, sweeping, removing weeds and leaves etc What Youll Need Valid UK driving licence with C1 category CPC qualification card and Tacho card Experience operating larger vehicles Good health & safety awareness Team player with good communication skills Physical fitness regular lifting and manual handling is part of the role This role is ideal if you: Enjoy practical, physical work Prefer being on the move rather than sitting still all day Like working with others to get the job done Want consistent work with decent pay and a predictable pattern Ready to Make a Difference? xwwtmva If youre a reliable driver who isnt afraid to roll up your sleeves and wants a role that keeps Edinburgh clean and clutter-free, wed love to hear from you.Apply today and join the team
