HGV Driver Class 1 Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.*at least 3 months road experience on Class 1 required* 24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for Class 1 drivers on behalf of our client for a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain, a major retailer based in Severn Beach, Bristol (BS35).Our customers require deliveries during the night; therefore, shifts are expected to start between 22.00-23.30 , manual handling will be required at all collection and delivery points.Shift lengths will be governed by needs, capacity and schedules, meaning that drivers will need to have some flexibility with shift starting and finishing times.Shift lengths do vary, but you are expected to comply with all Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations at all times.HGV Driver Class 1 will require: Hold valid Class 1 / C E License No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's) Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards At least 3 months road experience on HGV required HGV Driver Class 1 work will involve: Working for one of fastest growing business, our client offers new modern trucks and continuity of work Long term ongoing position Immediate start available AVAILABLE SHIFT PATTERN: Start times between 22.00- 23.30 Monday to Friday (4 nights to start off with but xwwtmva will go to 5 nights) 5 x drops per shift and cage collections Class 1 HGV driver will receive: PAYE dynamic rates Nights £19.00 per hour OT after 48 weekly hours £22.50 per hour Saturday £20.00 per hour Sunday £22.00 per hour Benefits of working with 24-7 as a HGV Driver: Weekly Pay- Every Friday 28 days accrued annual leave per annum (roughly 2.5 days a month) Online payslips On-going assignmentsd02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
