This full-time permanent position will be working to a rota consisting of days, nights and weekends.
The role is available to start as soon as possible but can accommodate notice periods of up to 8 weeks.
The position offers a competitive salary of £43,000 to £46,000 depending on experience.
The role of a Deputy Ward Manager is to provide senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the ward manager.
You will be expected to have clinical experience and leadership that provides expertise and confidence to the nursing team and ward overall.
You will have defined responsibilities from the Ward Manager; having 1 day a week protected time for your management duties and supervisory responsibilities for an agreed group of staff.

Knowledge of NMC Guidelines, requests and professional practices Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
