Mobile Electrical Engineer Salary: £40,000 per annum Location Coverage : Basingstoke, Alton, Yateley & Petersfield Working Hours: 06:30Find out if this opportunity is a good fit by reading all of the information that follows below.- 14:30, Monday to Friday flexible Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a Multi Skilled Technician to join our mobile engineering team, supporting multiple sites across Basingstoke, Alton, Yateley, and Petersfield.This is a hands-on role requiring a proactive and technically competent individual with a strong electrical background and a commitment to delivering high standards of maintenance and reactive support.You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a variety of building systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across designated sites.Diagnose and repair electrical faults and issues across a range of systems.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant regulations and company procedures.Participate in the on-call rota (1 in 6 weeks), providing emergency support across the wider regional estate.Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.Liaise with site teams and management to ensure minimal disruption to operations.Essential Requirements Fully electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).Current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.Either currently LV Authorised Person (AP) or willing to undertake training (funded by the company).Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role, ideally within commercial or industrial environments.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.Full UK driving licence.Additional Information On-Call Rota: 1 in 6 weeks (Friday to Friday), covering the full regional estate, not limited to the technician's assigned branches.Standby Payment: £130 per on-call week.Call-Out Pay: First call of the week paid at a minimum of 4 hours; subsequent calls paid door-to-door.Overtime: Available on an ad hoc basis (not guaranteed weekly).Training: LV AP training and certification fully funded by the company.If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.Hays EA is a trading division of Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited and acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.By applying for this job you accept the T&C's, Privacy Policy and Disclaimers which can be found at hays.co.ukd02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
