HGV Class 1 Driver

About the Role KPI Recruiting are looking for reliable and professional HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our well-known logistics client based in Stafford .If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing, full-time work with guaranteed shifts and access to modern, state-of-the-art vehicles .You'll be responsible for trunking to depots and regional distribution centres (RDCs) across the UK — no handball required .If you're an experienced driver looking for consistent work, competitive pay, and flexible shift options, this is the role for you.Key Responsibilities Drive HGV Class 1 (CE) vehicles safely and efficiently to RDCs and depots across the UK.Complete trunking routes with minimal manual handling (no handball involved).Ensure all loads are secure and vehicle checks are completed before departure.Comply with all UK road transport laws, tachograph regulations , and company procedures.Represent KPI Recruiting and our client with a professional attitude at all times.Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the transport team.Requirements A valid UK Class 1 (Category CE) licence.Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card .No IN, DD, or DR endorsements on licence.A good understanding of UK road networks .Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused approach.Previous experience in trunking or long-distance driving preferred.Shift Patterns Days and nights available.Any shift pattern considered – flexible start times to suit your availability.Guaranteed ongoing work throughout the year.Ample overtime opportunities for additional income.Pay Rates £17.00 per hour – Monday to Friday £20.00 per hour – Weekends Holiday pay can be paid on top of these rates if preferred.Weekly pay every Friday.What We Offer Ongoing, full-time HGV Class 1 work with a reputable logistics partner.Guaranteed shifts and flexible scheduling.Access to modern, state-of-the-art vehicles and facilities.Weekly pay and optional holiday pay enhancement.Additional driving shifts available through other KPI contracts if desired.Opportunities for long-term, stable work within a respected national brand.Why Work with KPI Recruiting?
