The first American Formula 1 team to compete in the sport since 1986, MoneyGram Haas F1 Team made an immediate impression with a memorable points-scoring debut at the 2016 Australian Grand Prix. General Summary:

This position reports to the Financial Controller or their designee; is located in Banbury, UK. This role plays a significant part in financial reporting and tax compliance for the Haas F1 Team group entities.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Promote teamwork and effective communications to develop working relationships between all personnel and departments.

·        Processing of general ledger entries including revenue, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and payroll.

·        Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.

·        Reviewing coding of purchase orders.

·        Assist in the calculation and processing of intercompany recharges etc.

·        Assist in quarterly reconciliations between Haas Formula Italia's statutory ledgers and management reporting.

·        Assist in the preparation of annual statutory financial statements.

·        Assist in the preparation of detailed audit schedules for annual statutory audits.

·        Assist in the preparation of UK VAT returns.

·        Assist in the preparation of Italian tax compliance.

·        Assist with other compliance/reporting activities.

·        Assist with ERP system upgrades

·        Follow all safety regulations in all venues.

·        Other duties as assigned by the Financial Controller or their designee.

Education and Work Experience:

Ideally part ACCA/ACA qualified with two years relevant work experience. A solid understanding of accounting principles and practical tax experience is preferred, including dealing with tax authorities and professional advisors.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

·        Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

·        Have an excellent understanding of English language.

·        Experience in a global environment strongly preferred.

·        Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

·        Strong internal controls knowledge and technical accounting skills.

·        Strong organizational skills to keep timelines and meets deadlines.

·        Ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.

·        Willingness and ability to quickly learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities.

·        Work to a consistently high standard in stressful and time sensitive situations.

·        Quick decision-making skills whilst working through problems in a scientific and analytical way.

Equipment and Applications:

·        Solid computer knowledge, preferred experience in Microsoft Office products and ERP Systems.

Work Environment Physical Demands:

An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role may require some occasional domestic and international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.

This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast-paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7-post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
