CNC Setter and Operator - Turning Smethwick, West Midlands Monday to Friday (1400 - 2230) Up to £39,000+ per annum + DOE A Competitive salary, Company Pension, Overtime, Generous Holiday allowance and Company Bonus Our Client Our client is a ISO9001 certified Precision Engineering firm, manufacturing highly specialised component parts for an impressively wide-reaching customer base. They are looking for a skilled CNC Setter and Operator (Turning) to join their proficient and exceptionally welcoming engineering team. Responsibilities Setting and operating CNC Lathes: Sliding and Fixed Heads Reading, interpreting and applying technical drawings Ensuring the changing of tooling parts (tips, drills, tools, and inserts) Applying measurement tools to ensure exacting standards Accurate and timely recording of measurement and production data Strict adherence to Health and Safety standards Ensuring CPD by participating in all mandatory in-house and external training Skills required Solid experience setting and operating CNC Sliding Head / Fixed Head machines Experience using Citizen machinery is highly desirable Experience with FANUC controls and working to tight tolerances Ability to work both independently, as well as part of a close-knit team If you are interested in this position please click 'apply'.
