iRecruit4 are recruiting an experienced and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to support a busy pallet network operation in the Melksham area of Wiltshire.Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.This long term role involves Class 1 multi-drop deliveries and collections of palletised freight and requires someone comfortable with a physical, hands-on job.The Role You will work as part of an established transport team completing multi-drop Class 1 deliveries and collections across the local and regional area.The work involves manual handling, operating equipment, and confidently managing palletised goods.Vehicles will include curtain siders and double deckers.Ideally, candidates will be happy to work on either Class 1 or Class 2 duties if required, offering flexibility across the operation.Key Responsibilities for Class 1 HGV Driver: Completing Class 1 (CE) multi-drop deliveries and collections Driving curtain siders and double deckers Providing polite and professional customer service Using pump trucks, electric pallet trucks, and tail lifts (full training provided) Using an delivery tracking device to confirm deliveries and report damages or incidents Maintaining safe, compliant, and well presented vehicles Performing manual handling tasks. xwwtmva This is a physical role Hours & Pay for Class 1 HGV Driver: Typical start times: 06:0008:00 Approx.50 hours per week Pay options (based on hours worked): £16.25 per hour ? £33,800£42,250 per year £17.59 per hour ? £36,600£45,734 per year (Holiday rolled up) (Lower figure = 40 hours/week, higher figure = 50 hours/week) Requirements for Class 1 HGV Driver: Valid Class 1 (CE) licence CPC & Digital Tachograph Comfortable with physical work, pump truck operation, and multi-drop deliveries Flexible to work Class 1 or Class 2 duties if needed Good communication and customer interaction skills Pallet-network experience preferred but not essential If youre an experienced driver looking for a secure, flexible, and physical multi drop role in the Melksham area, wed love to hear from youd02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
