HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity (Leicester, Leicestershire) People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity roles based in Leicester, Leicestershire .Find out if this opportunity is a good fit by reading all of the information that follows below.This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, ongoing full-time work, and the chance to secure a permanent role within a reputable and supportive business.Shifts • Monday to Friday • 06:00 to 15:00 Rates of Pay • £15.75 per hour Benefits • Excellent hourly rates • Weekly pay • Ongoing, full-time work • Immediate starts available • Training provided • Temp-to-perm opportunity Day-to-Day Duties • Driving and operating HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and efficiently • Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of water stock (handball and some heavy lifting required) • Completing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks and inspections • Ensuring all loads are safely secured before departure • Adhering to traffic laws and working time regulations • Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers • Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management Essential Skills • Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence • Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • Minimum six months' experience driving Category C vehicles • Maximum of six penalty points (minor offences only) • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking • Good communication and teamwork skills • Strong understanding of road transport and safety regulations Desirable Experience • Previous commercial multi-drop delivery experience • Experience working in logistics or distribution environments Training Provided • Full industry-related training with ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information. xwwtmva People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.d02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
