The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Runcorn area.Make sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team.Shifts: Shifts across Monday to Sunday (weekends included on a rota basis) Class 1 Hours: Days Monday to Friday (occasional Sunday shift) 9-10 hour long shifts Days- typically 09:00- 10:00am start time Pay Rate: Monday to Friday- £16.00 per hour PAYE Saturday- £18.50 per hour PAYE Sunday- £21.50 per hour PAYE Location: Runcorn, WA7 Job Type : Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.The role: Working set shifts with a rota planned in advance, weekends included and required Securely moving and transporting premium and high value goods (parcels) to sub-depots or collecting them from delivery units.Focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork throughout shift.Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck however, will be predominately trunking.Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.Requirements: Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).Minimum of 6 months experience required.Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Full understanding of WTD legislation.Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.Excellent communication skills.A safety-first mindset. xwwtmva For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touchd02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
