Lead System ArchitectLocation: Bristol or Stevenage, UK – Hybrid (3-5 days on-site depending on workload)Salary: £60,000 - £72,000 depending on experienceYou could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.***Please note this role requires you to have British Citizenship***A leading defence technology organisation is seeking a Lead System Architect to join their Mission Planning & Control team for a critical FC/ASW weapon system. This role offers the chance to shape architectural artefacts across multiple product offerings, maximise modularity and re-use, and lead the development of highly complex systems that operate across UK and international platforms.Key responsibilities:• Lead the creation and maintenance of architectural artefacts for the Mission Planning & Control product line.• Guide and mentor other architects, influencing the overall design and delivery approach.• Apply MBSE practices to complex system architectures and ensure alignment with product line principles.• Collaborate with multi-skilled teams to deliver solutions on time, on cost, and to quality standards.Skills and experience required:• Proven expertise in complex systems architecture and practical MBSE experience.• Knowledge of architectural principles in a product line environment is desirable.• Proficiency in Rhapsody & SysML, and IBM Engineering Workflow Management (essential); experience with DOORS Next Generation is advantageous.• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate and influence across teams.• Experience leading small to medium work packages autonomously and tackling highly complex challenges.Benefits:• Bonus up to 21% of base salary.• Pension contributions up to 14% (employer + employee).• Flexible working arrangements and enhanced parental leave (up to 26 weeks).• Excellent site facilities including subsidised meals, free parking, and healthcare cash plan. xwwtmva For further information feel free to reach me at , or simply apply Reference: AMC/RKI
