The Planet Group have recently been engaged by a market leader in the Aerospace industry who are looking for a Production & Demand Planner to join the team on an initial 6-12 month contract.Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.Duties & Responsibilities:Monitoring inventory – stock level and release orders on Planner Workbench accordingly.Support the Operations Manager on tasks with Manufacturing site in Japan.Support Procurement Manager on Suppliers and Purchase Order tasks.Track and drive production orders to ensure OTD to end customers.Release production job orders to support UK Production start dates as well as validating that all parts were allocated correctly to the given job orders.Ensure job orders are corrected in a timely manner each week to minimise aging work orders.Facilitate expedited material of critical part shortages to released work orders.Liaison to Stores to unsure understanding of daily ship schedules.Liaison between Operations Manager, Procurement Manager and Production TeamSupport inventory cycle counting, reduction, accuracy initiatives as required.Support with Forecast activities.Relevant and current experience on ERP CloudsuitePerform other duties as assigned.Key Requirements:A primary function of the role is to use the ERP Cloud suite knowledge and experience of this system would be a requisite for the role.Ability to achieve baseline security clearance.Available at short notice latest January 2026.Salary: Hourly rate competitive - PAYE Inside IR35If you would like to find out more, please apply in the first instance.We are an equal opportunities Recruitment Business and Agency. xwwtmva We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation or age.
