Job DescriptionAs a Corporate Portfolio Director, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Corporate Customers across the South West, some of whom will have complex needs or may experience challenges that need support/corrective measures to protect the loan book. You will work with the Exec team to deliver appropriate risk strategies and credit limits for your portfolio. Working to achieve a commercially balanced sustainable solution, assessing the credit position and identifying the right option suitable to meet both the Customer and business needs. This will include assessing new lending opportunities and maintaining an ongoing review of the Customer’s wider business to identify credit appetite.As a Corporate Portfolio Director, we are looking for someone to:Develop relationships at all levels with your portfolio of Corporate Customers and senior stakeholders to enable successful business relationships; allowing us to manage, protect and grow the loan bookActively own and manage allocated corporate accounts by implementing credit strategies to effectively & efficiently minimise credit risk; providing solutions and creating potential lending opportunities where appropriateManage, track & analyse departmental data to support the decision making processWork with the wider business to identify & manage horizon risksMaintain strong & relevant industry knowledge across all asset type, sectors and regionsSupport the management of the department by identifying process opportunities to improve the outcome for Customers and our businessQualificationsEssentialStrong relationship and portfolio management experienceExpert knowledge of the commercial & residential lending marketDeep knowledge of credit management strategiesAbility to effectively challenge and influence key stakeholdersGood understanding of financial accounts & cash flow forecastsIf you feel you have some of the skills mentioned above, but not all, please do still apply and we would be happy to have a further discussion with you in regards to your suitability for the role.Additional Information–––––––––––––Together embraces diversity and inclusion, and are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
