Driving best practice in the production environment with food safety, quality & legality. First point of contact for all production-based issues. Verification of systems generating daily compliance KPI’s. Key part of Technical functions including but not limited to internal auditing, micro sampling and daily calibration.ResponsibilitiesDriving production to be audit readyTo operate in accordance to all company policies & proceduresProduct inspections & temperature checksGeneration of departmental compliance KPI’sOwnership of the quality departments paperwork & recordsConduct internal sample swabbing & shelf life sampling (as required)Be aware of your own responsibilities for H&S & play an active role in ensuring that all staff work within the company’s H&S policySupport the implementation of any agreed departmental objectives & projectsConduct internal scheduled auditsComplete verifications & validations of the QMS xwwtmva proceduresTo ensure a good working relationship with OV’s, meat inspectors and operational staffTo liaise & engage with other group sites & its projects as & if requiredSkills & KnowledgeMeat / Product knowledgeComputer literate (to include using Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel)QA experience
