About the Role: * Position: Learning Support Assistant * Start Date: ASAP * Location: Aldershot * Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, during term time * Role Type: 1:1 support for a child with specific needs, including speech and language, behavioural challenges, or high SEN requirements. * Contract: Ongoing, with the potential to become permanent. Key Responsibilities: * Provide tailored 1:1 support to a primary-aged pupil, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development. * Work closely with teachers, SENCo, and other professionals to implement effective learning strategies and interventions. * Encourage positive behaviours, build self-confidence, and promote independence in the child you support. * Support the classroom environment to ensure inclusivity for all pupils. What We’re Looking For: * A recent graduate in Psychology, Education, or a related field. * Passion for working with children, particularly those with SEN, behavioural, or communication challenges. * A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting young learners. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Previous experience in an educational or caregiving setting is a plus but not essential.
