We are currently looking for an IT Systems Engineer for an exciting opportunity to join a longstanding globalpany with a great working environment and excellent additional benefits. Our client is an established worldwide organisation. They specialise in the manufacturing of magneticponents, including high performance RF chip inductors, power magnetics and filters. They are currently working with us to find an experienced IT professional with an appetite for a wide range of technical work on a variety of projects. Why should you apply, you ask?Excellentpany culture (employees tend to stick around for a lasting career rather than short stints)Flat-management structure (All voices are heard, not just those at the top)Encourage continual learning and development (happy to support employees through courses/training)Small Team (The IT team is small, so you will get to make key decisions on technology and steer the business in ways you feel are best)Flexible working pattern (Happy to discuss working hours and hybrid/ WFH days)Role: In this position you will be expected to carry out the following responsibilities – Drive IT initiatives that promote growth and ongoing enhancement.Oversee and refine the organization's network setup, ensuring robust and efficient operation of LANs, WANs, VPNs, and wireless systems.Implement and sustain server and storage infrastructure, operating systems, virtual environments, and cloud solutions.Partner with international IT teams to forge network and system strategies that support business goals and adhere to tech standards.Offer assistance for network and system enquiries, aiding end-users and IT colleagues.Streamline network and system operations through scripting and configuration toolsSet up necessary hardware for systems and user stations.Desired Technical Skill set: The ideal candidate would have experience using and be familiar with the following – Microsoft cloudputing, Intune, Entra M365, O365, Windows servers Operating systems: Windows and VMWare Network protocols, Routing, Switches, Network security Virtualisation platform management
(, VMware).Scripting for automation
(, PowerShell).Server hardware, architecture, and SANs.Patch management.Desired Personal Skills:Effective and personablemunicator.Adept problem-solver.Capable of juggling tasks and projects
