This is an important role as you will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents and students, face to face and over the telephone. This role is being offered on a long term temporary basis starting immediately until July , therefore you must be available immediately and able to commit to the duration of the role.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Answering calls and taking messagesMeeting and greeting visitors, students and parentsInputting data into the school system and spreadsheetsDistributing post to correct staff membersAssisting parents and carers with queriesBooking meetings and diary managementFiling, scanning, and archivingThe successful candidate must have prior reception / administration experience, ideally within an educational setting as you will be required to have an understanding of the importance of safeguarding. You will need to be computer literate along with having a confident and polite telephone manner, high attention to detail and strong communication skills.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS will be required prior to commencing employment.
