The company is a global sized firm, recognised for its commitment to excellence in its field and its focus on providing high-quality services.Job DescriptionThe successful Legal Cashier will likely have the following responsibilities:Processing client and office account transactions accurately and efficiently.Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules and regulations.Handling bank reconciliations for client and office accounts.Managing incoming and outgoing payments, including electronic transfers.Preparing and posting journals for corrections and adjustments.Assisting with month-end and year-end financial processes.Providing support to the wider accounting team as required.Responding to internal and external queries in a timely manner.The Successful ApplicantThe successful Legal Cashier should have:Previous experience in a legal cashiering or similar finance role within professional services.Strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules and relevant regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues and clients.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.What's on OfferCompetitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £35,000.Hybrid working - 1 day in the office.Attractive benefits package to support your well-being and career development.Permanent position based in Glasgow with opportunities for growth.Be part of a medium-sized professional services organisation known for excellence.
