The Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Year 5 Teacher to cover maternity leave from September to April. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, inspiring and educating young minds during a crucial stage of their development. The role is open to a full-time candidate or a potential job share, offering flexibility for the right individuals. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the diverse needs of Year 5 students. * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth. * Plan and implement a balanced curriculum in line with the school's standards and policies. * Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their learning journey. * Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the well-being and academic progress of students. * Participate in school activities, events, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications and Experience: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. * Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably as a Year 5 Teacher. * Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement.
