Design and Technology Teacher required teaching Resistant Materials in Durham.Are you an inspiring Design and Technology teacher looking to match your talents to a high achieving secondary school? Then this could be the role for you- Design and Technology Teacher required - Immediate start to teach Resistant Materials- Large mixed Academy- Excellent support and students who genuinely want to achieve- Located within easy transport linksOur client secondary school in Durham require a committed, creative and enthusiastic Design and Technology teacher to join their Design Technology department to teach Resistant Materials. The successful applicant will be confident to teach Resistant Materials to Key Stages 3 and 4. The ability to teach Resistant Materials and having a good knowledge of Graphics would also be beneficial. You will be self-motivated, committed to lifelong learning and an excellent role model for learners. You will join a friendly and welcoming faculty which is forward thinking, innovative, successful and passionate about teaching.The school has few behavioural issues but as with all schools you will need confidence and presence within the classroom. The school offers excellent support and some of the best facilities around within a welcoming environment. Focussing heavily on staff induction, training and development, the school carry out annual reviews of the staffing structure in order to match changing needs and to provide development opportunities for aspiring leaders.Applications are invited from experienced teachers, or those having successfully completed their NQT year, for whom excellent facilities and support exists. Qualified Teacher Status is ESSENTIAL for employment.
