Job description The OpportunityAn established and highly respected wealth management firm is looking to recruit a Senior Wealth Planning Assistant to provide high-quality administrative and client support to Wealth Planners. This is a key role within the business, focused on delivering excellent client outcomes through efficiency, accuracy, and outstanding service.You will act as a central point of contact between clients, Wealth Planners, internal teams, and third-party providers. Alongside your core responsibilities, you will play a vital role in supporting, mentoring, and sharing best practice with more junior members of the team.Key ResponsibilitiesAdministrative SupportProvide high-quality administrative support to Wealth Planners in line with internal processes and compliance frameworkEnsure all documentation meets company standards with excellent accuracy and attention to detailSupport submission of cases to the paraplanning teamHandle finance-related queries including invoices, billing, WIP, and commissionsProduce accurate Service Agreements where requiredDemonstrate flexibility when supporting different internal stakeholdersClient SupportCoordinate central services such as paraplanning, valuations, and business processingPrepare and submit CDD and new account documentation in line with AML proceduresArrange client meetings, prepare meeting packs, manage diaries, and oversee valuationsComplete post-meeting actions and maintain accurate meeting recordsAct as a first point of contact for clients, handling general queries and escalating complex mattersMeet and greet clients, manage correspondence, and prepare letters of authorityPrepare client application forms in line with suitability recommendations and ensure timely processingMaintain accurate client records on XPlan and all associated systemsAdditional ResponsibilitiesAssist with the training and quality-checking of junior team membersShare knowledge, best practice, and expertise to strengthen team performanceSupport the wider team during busy periodsProactively contribute to efficiency and process improvement initiativesUndertake relevant technical and professional training and maintain CPDCandidate RequirementsEssential:Strong understanding of the end-to-end Wealth Planning processKnowledge of financial planning productsExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong numerical ability with exceptional attention to detailHighly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skillsConfident working collaboratively in a team environmentStrong awareness of regulatory and compliance standardsDesirable:Experience using XPlanExperience using VoyantProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelKey Skills & BehavioursClient-focused and service-drivenCalm, professional, and highly organisedAccountable and dependableProactive and improvement-focusedApproachable and collaborativeAmbitious and motivated to succeedCompliance & ValuesYou will be expected to operate in line with the FCA Conduct Rules, acting with integrity, skill, care, and diligence at all times, while ensuring clients are treated fairly and receive excellent outcomes.The business is built around the core values of being:ApproachableAccountableAlignedAmbitiousWhy Apply?This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Wealth Planning Assistant looking to step into a senior, influential role within a professional, client-focused, and forward-thinking wealth management environment.
