Role and Responsibilities: As the CNC Setter/Operator you will collaborate with a close-knit team dedicated to producing high-quality transmission components, primarily for the motorsport and aerospace industries. You will be equipped with the support of EdgeCam and Delcam offline programming, as well as guidance from your team leader. Your main responsibilities will include: Operating and setting up 3x Mazak Integrex i-200-ST Multi Axis Machining Centres. Producing components according to drawings and planning route cards to meet the highest quality standards and delivery schedules. Taking a proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement within the team. Demonstrating expertise with Mazak/Fanuc controls, with a preference for Mazatrol programming experience. Adapting to different manufacturing areas, including experience with Mazak VariAxis i500/i600 machines, and setting/operating two-axis CNC Lathe machines. A willingness to work overtime as necessary to meet project delivery dates. The ability to read and understand programs, and the capability to edit programs and adjust speeds and feeds when required. Proficiency in the use of turning tips and milling cutters. Requirements: To be considered for the role of CNC setter/operator, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes: Proven experience in producing high-quality components from drawings and planning route cards. A proactive and innovative mindset, with a strong problem-solving orientation. Familiarity with Mazak/Fanuc controls, with preference given to those with Mazatrol programming experience. Experience with multitasking lathes would be advantageous. Flexibility to work in various manufacturing areas, including Mazak VariAxis i500/i600 machines and two-axis CNC Lathe machines. Willingness to work overtime to meet project deadlines. Proficiency in reading and understanding programs, as well as the ability to edit programs and adjust machining parameters as needed.
