They produce twelve respected journals, publish research from international authors, and host topical medical conferences. With offices across Europe and London, they are recognised as an industry leader in advancing scientific communication. Key Responsibilities - Manage first-round editing and copy-editing of scientific manuscripts - Proofread and fact-check to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency - Collaborate with authors and editors to deliver top-quality content - Conduct second-round edits and provide constructive feedback - Support the training and development of new team members About You This role will be responsible for overseeing the first rounds of editing and copy-editing of scientific manuscripts, which will include proofreading, fact-checking as well as interfacing with authors and editors. Candidates will need to be familiar with scientific research and language, therefore an academic background in life sciences is a must. In addition, we'll be looking for: - Exceptional written and verbal English skills - Strong grasp of scientific terminology - Organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines - Motivated, resourceful, and a true team player - Prior proofreading or copy-editing experience is desirable (training provided) Why Apply?
