Demand Planner

Job DescriptionWise Employment are currently recruiting for a Demand Plannerfor an established and successful food manufacturing company based in Callington, Cornwall.This is an on-site based permanent role working Monday to Friday 06.30am to 430pm. You will also liaise with retailers and customers for general demands and promotional plansExperience and skills required for a Demand Planner:Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and systemsExperience of constraint planning and scheduling within food manufacturingPrevious planning or scheduling experienceData and statistical analysisStrong presentation skillsStrong organisational and time management skills Experience required: Build and manage short-term forecasts (weeks 0–5), ensuring accuracyAnalyse sales trends, demand drivers, and promotions to improve forecast reliability.Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, and retailers to align demand planning.Coordinate seasonal, promotional, and new product (NPD) planning and evaluation.Create and publish KPIs, including forecast accuracy and promotional performance.· Support Production Planning and MRP alignment, providing cover when needed.
