The Role Our client is seeking a talented Corporate Associate or Senior Associate (circa 3-8 years PQE) to join their thriving Birmingham team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a broad range of corporate matters for a diverse client base, including multinational corporations, UK PLCs, financial institutions, investors, and private businesses. You will work closely with a leading partner in the Birmingham office, who joined the firm in 4 after a successful career at several renowned law firms. This partner is highly regarded for advising institutional investors, corporates, and individuals on all aspects of corporate transactions, and has an impressive track record acting on high-profile deals, including: Advising clients on investments from private equity houses and institutional investors. Acting for clients on sales and acquisitions across sectors including healthcare, construction, and leisure. Advising clients on complex leveraged buy-outs and serial acquisitions. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from and collaborate with one of the region’s most respected dealmakers, recognised for delivering commercially focused advice and exceptional client service. Key responsibilities include: Advising on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, reorganisations, and other corporate transactions. Drafting and negotiating key transactional documents. Managing client relationships and delivering clear, commercially focused advice. Supporting partners and supervising junior team members where appropriate.
