Job description This setting is an award winning Nursery chain that is set in 98 acres of beautiful Essex Woodlands that is just only 1 miles away from Brentwood main town centre. This setting is looking for Room leader to join their fun nursery in CM13 They are looking for a Level 3 (or higher) to come and join them in the baby room We do offer a 4 day working week, 7.30am-6.30pm with a set day off each week. Responsibilties: Be responsible as a key person for your own key children Ensure all room planning is achieving a high level of education for the children. To create strong parent relationships. To deliver a range of exciting and enriching activities and experiences for the children. To update children's online learning journals with quality observations and routine checks. Gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures, statutory welfare requirements and Ofsted expectations and requirements and to ensure these are maintained at all times. To have a clear knowledge of procedures to be followed in case of emergency e.g. fire, lockdown, accident & incident procedures. To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Nursery. To ensure that the Nursery conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Ofsted. To uphold and ensure a high standard of care throughout the Nursery. To implement and maintain the company's Equality policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory. To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures.
