Reporting directly to the Company Directors, this hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a highly respected contractor known for delivering premium commercial and public-realm schemes.The RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial ownership of multiple live projects, providing vital support to operations teams and ensuring strong financial performance across all stages.Key responsibilities include:Managing all contractual and commercial aspects across a range of live projectsSupporting operations throughout pre-construction, delivery, and project close-outManaging change control, including variations and add/omit schedulesPreparing, negotiating, and agreeing final accounts with clientsEnsuring timely payment and resolving application queries promptlyMonitoring project costs and implementing cost-mitigation strategiesAttending pre-order and client meetings as requiredWorking closely with delivery teams to ensure budgets and profit margins are achievedAccurately recording and valuing variations for monthly applications for paymentExperience & QualificationsMinimum 2 years' experience in a Quantity Surveying role (landscaping or construction sectors preferred)A relevant Diploma, Degree or Higher Education qualification is advantageous but not essentialStrong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ExcelWhat We're Looking ForHighly motivated and committed to building a long-term career within the companyStrong organisational and time-management abilitiesAble to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamProactive, reliable, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workStrong sense of ownership and accountability for tasksBenefitsCompetitive salaryCompany car or allowanceMembership to the employer's pension schemeOpportunity to grow within a trusted, well-established contractorSupportive working environment with long-standing industry relationshipsContact David on 0121 580 8950 @ PPM Recruitment
