Job description Remote Senior or Principal Ecologist Competitive Salary Remote, UK Allen & York are excited to be working with an award-winning agency, specialising in Ecology, Landscape Architecture and Arboriculture.Our client is looking for an ambitious Senior Ecologist to join the established team.The successful candidate will focus on report writing and fee earning production projects. The role will require occasional local surveying and some mentoring of junior Ecologists.You'll need to hold a degree or equivalent qualification in ecology, biology or similar and be a full member of CIEEM. With comprehensive experience in a similar role, you'll be able to demonstrate your experience of managing, running and leading multi-disciplinary teams. You'll hold protected species licence(s), ideally bat and/or GCN and have extensive Preliminary Ecological Appraisal and survey experience, skills and knowledge. You'll have significant project, site and task management experience with a broad knowledge of UK planning policy and Public Inquiry experience. With strong IT and CAD drafting skills, you'll have exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
