Job Title: Social Worker – Safeguarding TeamLocation: NorthamptonshireRate: £32 per hour Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a busy Safeguarding Team based in Northamptonshire. As an Adult Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable adults within our community. You’ll work closely with individuals, families, and other professionals to promote independence, well-being, and social inclusion. Benefits of the role: Flexible working available Long term contract Supportive team and management Progression opportunities Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker: Assessments and Support Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals’ needs, considering physical, emotional, and social factors. Develop personalised support plans that empower clients to achieve their goals. Collaborate with health professionals, care providers, and community resources to coordinate services. Safeguarding and Risk Management: Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns promptly. Assess risks related to vulnerable adults and implement appropriate interventions. Work within legal frameworks to ensure the safety and well-being of service users. Direct Work with Clients: Provide emotional support, counselling, and advocacy. Assist clients in accessing relevant services, benefits, and housing. Facilitate group sessions and workshops to enhance social skills and resilience. Collaboration and Multi-Agency Working: Liaise with healthcare professionals, housing officers, police, and other agencies. Attend case conferences and multidisciplinary meetings. Advocate for clients’ rights and needs within the wider system. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records. Complete assessments, care plans, and reports in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality guidelines.
