We are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive primary school seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a child with severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).This role is ideal for an experienced LSA or support worker who is confident working with complex needs and is committed to helping children access learning in a safe, structured and nurturing environment.The Role: Providing consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with severe ASD Supporting emotional regulation, communication and sensory needs Implementing strategies outlined in the child’s EHCP Supporting access to learning and inclusion within the classroom Assisting with transitions, routines and structured activities Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team Ensuring safeguarding, behaviour and care plans are followed at all times The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience supporting children with severe ASD and complex needs A calm, patient and resilient approach Knowledge of autism-friendly strategies ( visual supports, routines, sensory regulation) The ability to build strong, trusting relationships An understanding of safeguarding and child protection Team Teach or similar training is desirable but not essential What We Offer: A consistent 1:1 placement within one primary school Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant Competitive pay rates and weekly pay Full safeguarding and compliance support through the agency All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
