Job Start Date: ASAP We have been retained by a global technology company who are looking to hire a Procurement Manager from an indirect category background who will be working collaboratively with the Global Head of Procurement managing their UK function. The incumbent will also be assigned to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business to manage their indirect/professional services spend with a major focus around ESG. The chosen professional will also be working closely with the ESG leadership team to ensure all supplier contribute to budgeting targets whilst ensuring the SLA are being met with the appropriate frameworks. Day to day responsibility will include: – Roles and responsibilities: * Lead and execute procurement-led savings initiatives in collaboration with Procurement, Business and Supply Chain teams, driving significant cost reductions and efficiency improvements. * Proactively assess future procurement needs, leading the sourcing process through competitive marketplace analysis to uphold company values and achieve strategic goals. * Conduct supplier negotiations, develop and recommend contracting solutions to senior stakeholders, enhancing supplier relationships and procurement strategies. * Reviewing and updating vendor ESG plans against timelines and ensuring action to avoid non-delivery of strategic targets. * Ensuring all risk and ESG due diligence updates are completed with corporate policies. * Subject matter expert responsible for driving the professional services category. * Owning the cradle to grave procurement process including RFP, RFQ etc. Experience required: * 5 years within indirect/professional services. * Experienced in Leading end to end procurement processes * Strong negotiation and decision-making skills. * Ability to communicate across all levels up to C-Suite management. * Proven ability to work well under pressure and towards multiple deadlines, demonstrating a practical approach. * Ability to create and interpret metrics to create a culture of continuous improvement.
