The main function of the Health, Safety, and Well-being Advisor is to oversee the health, safety, and well-being of all facilities, including office buildings, laboratories, and other company premises. This role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and well-being policies and programs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and to promote a culture of safety and well-being across our engineering and assets, retail developer services, and group functions.

What you'll be doing as a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor: Oversee health, safety, and well-being for company main office facilities, including office buildings and laboratories. Ensure all facilities comply with health and safety regulations and standards. Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and well-being policies and procedures and ensure all policies are in compliance with current legislation and industry standards. Conduct regular risk assessments for all areas, including engineering, assets, retail services, and group functions. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Perform safety inspections and audits, identifying hazards and recommending corrective actions. Design and deliver training programs on health, safety, and well-being for all employees. Investigate incidents and accidents, providing reports and recommendations. Collaborate with HR and other departments to promote well-being initiatives and improve employee health and morale. Prepare and present reports on health, safety, and well-being performance to senior management. Integrate safety and well-being practices into all operations and provide expert advice and support. What you should bring to the role: Experience in managing safety for diverse facilities, including office buildings and laboratories. Professional certification: Nebosh Diploma or NVQ level 5, IOSH or equivalent. Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and training skills. Full UK driving licence What's in it for you? Competitive salary up to £60,000 per annum depending on skills and experience + Car Allowance £4,500 annum. Annual Leave: 26 days holiday per year increasing to 30 with the length of service (Plus bank holidays).
