Position Overview: We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Specialty Doctor in Adult Psychiatry to join our esteemed team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated psychiatrist to contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services for adults within our community. Key Responsibilities: Provide clinical care and support to adults with mental health disorders, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment under the supervision of consultant psychiatrists. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Monitor patients’ progress and response to treatment, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and clinical reviews to ensure coordinated and integrated care for patients. Provide support and guidance to junior medical staff, including specialty trainees, medical students, and other members of the healthcare team. Contribute to service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and research activities within the department. Requirements: Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and inclusion on the Specialist Register for Psychiatry (or eligibility for registration). Demonstrated experience working as a Specialty Doctor or equivalent in adult psychiatry settings. Excellent clinical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and engage with patients and their families.
