Media Teacher

Job description Are you a qualified and passionate Media teacher based in Leicestershire looking for a new opportunity?This position is a full time maternity cover, starting February until Summer. As a Media teacher, the school will expect the following:* Teach Media to KS4 & KS5 level. * Teach some English to KS3.* Have a detailed knowledge of the curriculum. * Have high standards of communication and the ability to work as a team. * Assess, mark and plan lessons.* Assess achievements of pupils. To be considered for this position Aspire People you will need to have the following: * UK QTS/QTLS/FE equivalent * Relevant teaching experience across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is beneficial) * An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or wiling to apply for one)* Excellent Communication skills and commitment to working as part of a team.This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full time, maternity cover role starting in February.
