HGV Class 1 Car Transporter Driver

We are seeking reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client’s team on a permanent basis Exceptional Class 2 Drivers with aspirations to progress to Class 1 (training provided after probation) will also be considered.Our client is a prestigious vehicle delivery company based in Radlett, specialising in transporting high-end vehicles across the UK and Europe using covered six-car transporters. Key Responsibilities: Safely load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles using a six-car enclosed transporter. Perform vehicle checks, maintain accurate delivery logs, and complete required paperwork. Follow all road safety regulations and company protocols. Communicate effectively with planners and clients about schedules or potential delays. Provide excellent customer service during vehicle handovers. Requirements Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence, CPC, and Tacho Card. Minimum of 1 year’s HGV driving experience (maximum 6 points for minor offences). Strong knowledge of road safety and commercial driving best practices. Experience with car transporters is advantageous but not essential (training available). Strong time management and communication skills. Willingness to undergo a DBS check and pass drug and alcohol testing. Commutable from: Hatfield, St Albans, Potters Bar, Hemel Hempstead, Rickmansworth, Edgware, Watford, Borehamwood, Tottenham, Amersham, High Wycombe, Slough. This role is ideal for: Class 1 Drivers, Car Transporter Drivers, CE Drivers, C+E Drivers, and Class 2 Drivers looking to advance their careers.
