The company is dedicated to delivering impactful projects and services, fostering cultural enrichment and community engagementJob DescriptionA permanent contract, 16 hours a week, great to accommodate for your own passions and prioritiesPrepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.Support the year-end audit process, working closely with external auditors.Provide financial insights to support decision-making across the organisation.Oversee the reconciliation of accounts and preparation of financial statements.Collaborate with various departments to monitor expenditure and manage budgets.Contribute to improving financial processes and systems within the organisation.The Successful ApplicantA successful Management Accountant should have:Working towards a professional accounting qualification.Experience in management accounting or a similar role.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.An understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.What's on OfferA competitive salary ranging from £35,000-40,000 pro rata.Discounted events.Opportunities to engage with impactful outreach projects.Work within a collaborative and purpose-driven team in Leeds.Support for professional development and career growth.This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to make a difference in the Not For Profit sector.
