They are based in central Leeds and have a growing In-house legal team.Job DescriptionThe Senior Legal Counsel will be:Structuring, negotiating, and documenting growth equity and fund investmentsAdvising on legal risk and governance for investment transactionsLeading due diligence, managing external counsel, and coordinating with internal stakeholdersProviding commercial legal advice across corporate, public law, compliance, and contractsSupporting and evolving legal policies and frameworksPresenting to senior committees and boards on legal mattersThe Successful ApplicantThe Senior Legal Counsel should be:A qualified corporate solicitor (or equivalent) with a background in private practice or In-houseExperienced in growth equity transactionsComfortable leading complex legal work streams and managing external legal panelsAdept at stakeholder engagement, influencing senior decision makers, and board reportingTies to Leeds and able to work 3 days in the officeWhat's on OfferBenefits include a competitive salary, bonus, generous pension up to 20%, hybrid working (min. 3 days per week in Leeds), and strong development pathways.
