Driver Hire Leeds West is recruiting an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our customer based in Bramley (LS13). This is a varied role combining Class 1 driving with occasional yard work and general labouring duties.You’ll be working with a reputable organisation committed to safety, efficiency, and reliability, so professionalism and flexibility are key. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is looking for a role that could lead to permanent employment. Responsibilities Operate Class 1 articulated lorries for scheduled deliveries. Ensure all jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. Perform daily vehicle checks and secure loads correctly. Assist with yard duties and general labouring when required. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and follow company procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues promptly. Requirements Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC & Digital Tachograph Card. Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 driving experience. Commercial driving experience (steel/heavy haulage preferred). Willingness to help in the yard and carry out manual work. No DD, DR or IN endorsements. Benefits Permanent salary: £31,636.80 per annum. Weekly pay + holiday accrual.
