About the role Behaviour Intervention WorkerWakefield£110 - £130 Per DayImmediate Start, temporary and Full Time Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. We must be able to obtain references from these roles.The RoleWe are currently seeking additional Behaviour Intervention Worker for work within our partner specialist provisions.The Behaviour Intervention Worker role involves supporting groups of children with additional needs such as Challenging Behaviour, Autism, PMLD, MLD and Social, emotional and mental health needs. You will be required to work within group and 1:1 setting with a range of ages and levels of learning.Your daily routine will involve continuously adapting and working alongside pupils to make their time in school as beneficial and productive as possible. Your main objective will be to support these pupils with this, as well as making sure they are not displaying any triggers or any signs of unease.Our main aim is to offer the best possible support to pupils. In order to be successful for this role a nurturing, patient and empathetic attitude will be key.The School This SEND school is based in the Wakefield area and is easily accessible via public transport, however being a driver and having access to a car is ideal. They support diverse group of pupils with a range of complex learning needs, social and emotional difficulties and challenging behaviours.Requirements To be considered for this role you will: Have previous experience of working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years.We must be able to obtain valid references from these roles.Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update ServiceBe available Monday - Friday from the times of 8.30am - 3.30pm Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
