Accounts Assistant – Maternity Cover Hyde £27,000 – £30,000 Spend 2026 working alongside an incredible Financial Controller This is a maternity cover role, but with the company’s ongoing growth, there’s a genuine chance it could go permanent. You’ll take charge of day to day day finance: managing both ledgers, keeping everything running smoothly, and even challenging processes where you see room for improvement. Despite being a 10 month contract, your ideas will be valued – the MD treats contract staff exactly like permanent team members. The ledgers are immaculate, thanks to the meticulous colleague you’ll be covering – no backlog, no chaos, just a clean handover. The working environment is genuinely welcoming and relaxed.
