Job Title: Social Worker (Children and Families)Location: West Midlands (3 days in office/visit, rest remote)Salary: £38 – £40 per hour An exciting job role has recently become available for a Social Worker. They are looking for a new member to join the Children and Families team in the West Midlands. What will your responsibilities be? As a Social Worker, you will conduct timely and thorough assessments of children’s needs, drawing on theoretical knowledge, evidence, and best practices. You will enable families to develop plans for necessary changes, ensuring sustainable improvements in children’s daily lives. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues and contribute to departmental quality assurance and improvement efforts. Supporting the learning and development of others, including mentoring ASYE colleagues, will be part of your role. You will also maintain high-quality court reports and case note recording, promote health and well-being in the workplace, fostering a sense of belonging and safety, and respectfully engage with diverse individuals, recognizing their worth and preserving their dignity. Staying informed about changing policies and adhering to the Code of Ethics and social work values is essential.
