A lovely family of 4 (soon to be 5) living in Balham are looking for a highly experienced Nanny. This young professional couple have 2 young children aged 8 months and 2.5 years, and are awaiting the arrival of their new addition in early September 2021. The children currently attend a local Nursery in Fulham (as the couple are both working parents). As a result, they are both well socialised and enjoy the company of other children and adults. The eldest is potty-trained, is fascinated by helicopters, communicates well verbally, and loves going for a walk and exploring. He’s an excellent and caring big brother who can sometimes get frustrated, as typically 2 year olds do – so prior experience with this age group is welcomed. The family love the outdoors, and travelling. During “usual times” the family like to spend three to four weeks over the winter skiing, and travel to places such as Gibraltar, Australia, Taiwan & China for personal and business trips, and in most circumstances, you would be expected to join them. It is expected that the Nanny is to maintain structure for the children. The role will include all of your typical nanny/nursey duties, along with the following: Morning routine Nursery drop off and pick up Age-appropriate learning through play, music, interaction, reading, etc Both indoor and outdoor play Reading with the children Planning meals, preparing food, and/or feeding the child Cleaning/sterilising baby bottles Bath-time Night routine Making sure the children's areas are kept tidy Ideally you should have previous experience in this type of role, and have qualifications or interest in early-years education such as Montessori. They are a very family orientated household and are looking for a loving, warm and charismatic Nanny to slot into their busy lifestyle. It is vital that you can be adaptable and muck in as and when is necessary. It is a MUST that you possess the following: Have prior knowledge with new-borns and children of a similar age Formal Nanny, Early Years or Montessori qualifications Willing to travel Non-Smoker Enhanced DBS Check
