Your new roleThis Mechanical Engineer role sits within the facilities' management team and focusses on maintaining and optimising mechanical systems across client properties. You’ll be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuringpliance with safety standards and delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and repair of HVAC systems (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning)Servicing boilers, chillers, and pumpsManaging plumbing and water systemsSupporting energy efficiency and sustainability initiativesConducting preventive and reactive maintenanceEnsuringpliance with building regulations and safety standardsWhat you'll need to succeedTypical QualificationsCity & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services EngineeringNVQ, HNC/HND, or apprenticeship in a mechanical disciplineF-Gas, Gas Safe, or other relevant certifications depending on systems worked onSkills & ExperienceProven experience in mechanical maintenance within facilities managementStrong understanding of building services andpliance requirementsAbility to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficientlyExcellentmunication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat you'll get in return25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays7% employer pension contribution (with 3% employee contribution)Private healthcare and employee assistance programmeSeason ticket loan, Cyclescheme, and enhanced parental leaveAccess to virtual GP and annual flu jab voucherOpportunities for training, certification, and career progressionSupportive and inclusive working environment
