With a strong foundation and amitment to sustainability, thispany is dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of its customers andmunities.Your new roleAs Procurement Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic sourcing plans across IT and Marketing categories (c. £15m spend). You’ll lead procurement initiatives for both non-tendered and high-value tendered contracts (over £100k), ensuring best value andpliance with procurement policies.Working closely with stakeholders and suppliers, you’ll drive innovation, cost control, and service excellence while embedding ethical and sustainable practices into every procurement decision.Key responsibilities include:• Developing and implementing category strategies aligned with business goals.• Leading supplier evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation.• Managing procurement projects and supporting new sourcing initiatives.• Providing data-driven insights to influence procurement decisions.What you’ll need to succeed• Proven strategic procurement experience, ideally in indirect procurement with experience in IT & Marketing categories being desirable• Strong negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.• Proficiency in digital procurement tools and contract development.• Analytical mindset with the ability to deliver value-added procurement solutions.• Excellentmunication, organisation, and project management skills.• A proactive, resilient approach with the confidence to act independently and collaboratively.• CIPS Level 4+ would be highly desirableWhat you’ll get in return• Up to £50,000• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, with the option to buy more.• Discretionary annual bonus scheme of 4% of annual salary• The opportunity to be sponsored through CIPS development and time out of work to study• Matched pension contributions up to 4%.• Life assurance, subsidised canteen, and free parking.• Festive perks including a free turkey or voucher.• Access to retail discounts and salary sacrifice schemes.
