Quantity Surveyor – Modular New Build Social HousingBasildon / SE London / Hybrid Up to c. £60,000 package Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take ownership of a modular new build project? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable, medium-sized main contractor delivering a high-quality social housing development in Basildon. The Company Our client is a well-established main contractor with a strong track record across residential and modular construction. Known for their collaborative approach, they offer a supportive environment with clear career progression and a healthy work-life balance. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for a modular new build social housing block from early stages through to completion. You will work closely with the commercial and operational teams to ensure financial control and successful delivery of the scheme. Key Responsibilities: Managing all commercial and contractual aspects of the project Preparing and agreeing interim valuations, final accounts and variations Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers Monitoring costs, budgets and cash flow Liaising with site teams, consultants and the client About You Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on new build residential or modular projects (main contracting background preferred) Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills Organised, proactive and able to work autonomously Benefits Salary up to c. £60,000 package Flexible working – mix of home working, site-based in Basildon, and office-based in SE London Opportunity to be a key part of a significant project Clear route for career development
