If so, we’d love to hear from youAbout the RoleWe’re looking for an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and welcoming Primary School in the Eastfield area of Scarborough. This is a full-time, long-term supply role beginning January 2026 and running until Easter initially, with the potential to continue for the right person.In this role, you’ll be supporting children in Nursery and Reception as they start their educational journey. You’ll work closely with the EYFS team to create a nurturing, stimulating environment where every child can develop socially, emotionally, and academically.What You'll Be Doing Supporting children during carpet time, play-based learning and small-group activitiesEncouraging positive behaviour and emotional developmentAssisting with phonics, early maths and communication activitiesHelping to create a safe, happy and inspiring learning spaceBuilding strong relationships with staff, children and families About YouWe’d love to hear from you if you are: A positive, patient and caring teaching assistantComfortable working with children aged 3–5Passionate about supporting early learning and developmentA strong communicator and team playerReliable, enthusiastic, and proactive Experience in an early years setting is desirable, but not essential.Why Work With Vision for Education?
