Class 2 HGV / LGV Drivers – Vacuum Tanker WorkStreamline Recruitment are proud to partner with a leading environmental waste management company.Our client operates a fleet of modern LGV Class 1 & Class 2 vehicles, including vacuum tankers equipped with the latest technology. Recognised as an industry leader, they hold certifications including ISO9001, 14001 & 45001, as well as FORS Silver, Alcumus SafeContractor, CHAS & Constructionline.This is an exciting opportunity for Class 2 drivers to join a growing, forward-thinking company with real prospects for development, specialising in vacuum tanker operations and overpumping.The Role:Driving Class 2 vacuum tankers to deliver non-potable water & collect sewerage across the regionOperating modern Euro 6 vehicles using GB Domestic hours logbooksUsing tablets to log vehicle checks, receive work tickets, record defects & report issuesInitial duties will focus on sludge jobs & overpumping (full training provided)Guaranteed 10-hour shifts (with opportunity for extra hours, nights & weekends)Training towards specialist qualifications such as jetting, confined spaces, traffic managementPotential progression into a permanent role with long-term stabilityWhat We’re Offering:£19.00 per hour (Ltd or Umbrella, IR35 exempt)Guaranteed 10 hours pay per shiftConsistent, full-time vacuum tanker driver work with flexible start timesExcellent earning potential with emergency overtime availableModern, well-maintained fleet of Class 2 tankers and support vehiclesA supportive, safety-focused employer with industry recognitionEssential Requirements:Full LGV Class 2 (Category C) licence with at least 6 months’ driving experienceIn-date CPC Card & Digital Tachograph CardMaximum 6 penalty points on licenceGood knowledge of Drivers’ Hours (Domestic & EU) & Working Time Directive regulationsConfident using technology (tablet-based reporting & scheduling)Physically fit (lifting hoses, pipes & tanker equipment required)Professional, polite & able to communicate effectively with clients & the publicFlexible approach – vacuum tanker work may vary throughout the dayIdeally You Will:Have previous vacuum tanker driving experience (wastewater industry preferred)Be willing to work additional hours when required (all paid at enhanced rates)Why Join?This role offers not only excellent pay but also the chance to build a long-term career as a Class 2 tanker driver in the environmental sector.
